Retail group pushes Senate on online sales tax

As noted on The Hill and other websites, an influential trade group called the National Retail Federation is lobbying the U.S. Senate to pass a rider to the defense bill (NDAA) that would require retailers like Organic Sulfur For Health to collect sales taxes across state lines.

Currently, sales tax is only assessed on customer purchases in California where Organic Sulfur For Health is domiciled and in Utah where our shipper is located. Shortly after the first of the year when Congress returns from its holiday recess, it’s possible that a vote of this proposal could be taken.
