ZIKA: Important New Developments You Should Know

Zika Part 2In February I posted a blog report about the alleged connection between a reduced cranial anomaly that affects infants called microcephaly and the Zika virus. Since then, dozens of articles about Zika have been published online. While public officials are clamoring to fight Zika, it’s vitally important to step back from the emotional rhetoric and objectively assess whether this is truly a serious pandemic that requires proactive measures.

Q. What is the Zika virus? Is it a new health problem?

The simple answer can be found in a Jan 30, 2016 Huffington Post article entitled, “Zika Virus Is At Least 50 Years Old. Here’s Why You’re Only Hearing About It Now.

This is not a new virus. It’s been known for 25 or 30 years but has never really spread to this extent. This virus has been documented in Africa. It was documented creating issues in Indonesia. It was one of these things were you get a couple days of fever, a little bit of a rash, maybe some joint pain and then it goes away. It was dismissed.

Q. What is microcephaly?

The Mayo Clinic website provides a brief description of the malady:

Microcephaly (my-kroh-SEF-uh-lee) is a rare neurological condition in which an infant’s head is significantly smaller than the heads of other children of the same age and sex. Sometimes detected at birth, microcephaly usually is the result of the brain developing abnormally in the womb or not growing as it should after birth.

Microcephaly can be caused by a variety of genetic and environmental factors. Children with microcephaly often have developmental issues.

Q. Is there verifiable proof that links Zika to the outbreak of microcephaly?

Mike Adams of Natural News expressed his expert opinion in a June 3, 2016 post entitled, “10 reasons why the Zika virus fear is another fraudulent medical hoax and vaccine industry funding scam.

Think the Zika virus is responsible for all the cases of microcephaly in South America? Think again: There is no reliable scientific evidence linking the two.

#1) The microcephaly cases (shrunken heads) in Brazil were caused by larvicide chemicals, not by zika.

#2) Even according to the CDC, which is aggressively pushing false Zika fear, nearly all Zika infections are harmless, symptomless and require no hospitalization whatsoever.

#3) The CDC fabricated the science linking Zika to microcephaly.

Q. If the Zika virus is relatively benign and not the cause of microcephaly, why are corporate interests and politicians jumping on the bandwagon to fight it?

Follow-the-money is an oft-repeated phrase that, unfortunately, appears to apply to the Zika scare. Big Pharma and the chemical industry are the primary lobbyists and beneficiaries of this contrived attack against a nonexistent pandemic where they will be able to dispense their toxic vaccines, pesticides, and GMO mosquitoes as weapons.

As noted in a March 5, 2016 article published on the New York Times entitled, “A Biotech Evangelist Seeks a Zika Dividend,” a West Palm Beach biotech firm that seeks to profit from the sale of its genetically engineered mosquitoes is Oxitec that’s headed by Randal Kirk.

Tragically, as noted by the titles of these two news reports, it appears that the Zika cures are worse than the disease.

“Safe” Zika pesticide nukes millions of bees

[Excerpt]
Millions of bees have just died in South Carolina, because Dorchester County officials decided to attack Zika mosquitoes from the air, from planes, with a pesticide called Naled.

Finally, there is at least one prominent U.S. politician – Florida Governor Rick Scott – who has positioned himself to profit handsomely from the Zika crisis via his wife’s financial interest in a mosquito spray company called Mosquito Control Services LLC of Metairie, Louisiana. Gov. Scott was instrumental in convincing Congress to earmark $1.1 billion to fight Zika as part of the federal government’s stop-gap spending deal that was passed by a vote of 72-26 on Sep 28, 2016.

Exposed! Florida Gov. Scott’s Undisclosed Interest In ‘Zika’ Mosquito Control Company

Aug 22, 2016

According to FloridaBullDog.org, “Gov. Rick Scott has an undisclosed financial interest in a Zika mosquito control company in which his wife, Florida First Lady Ann Scott, owns a multi-million dollar stake through a private investment firm she co-owns.” That’s right folks, it appears Scott isn’t just concerned about the well-being of Floridians but the cash to be made via Mosquito Control Services LLC of Metairie, LA. Perhaps that was a large part of the reason that he signed an executive order, on June 23rd, which allocated $26.2 million in state emergency funds for Zika preparedness.
